With Mr and Mrs Gibson’s new extension, the couple came to Hammonds looking for their ideal fitted kitchen for this space. Clever storage solutions, an area for entertaining and a modern yet timeless finish were all key to the brief.
Range: Liverton | Finish: Kitchen Charcoal
In the large space that the extension gave them, the couple were excited to fit a spacious kitchen where they could relax and entertain with food and drink. They always had in mind an island to make the most out of the space. With the help of specially trained Hammonds kitchen designer Simon Lawrence, they planned to fit a breakfast bar along either side of the luxurious Athena Lactea worktop island. Deep drawers, cupboards and a wine cooler were also fitted in this space, ensuring storage solutions were a key factor in the design.
The modern J-handle of the Liverton range first attracted Mrs Gibson for its distinctive aesthetic. The couple chose the Liverton in charcoal grey, and slate grey, a modern range with two sleek tones that oozes luxury. The darker colour of the cabinetry balances beautifully against the bright tiles and worktops. Mr and Mrs Gibson were eager to have lots of oven space worked into the kitchen extension design, as they enjoy entertaining with their friends and family. Three Neff ovens were fitted at a comfortable height with warming drawers, ensuring their cooking routine was made easier.
Adding more luxury to this spacious kitchen extension, a Neff coffee station was also fitted, giving them the freedom of a barista style coffee in the comfort of their home.
“We love it, it’s a great space for entertaining and we think it’s really beautiful. We’re both very happy with the finished result.”
